We are hiring our first in-house healthcare attorney to own the legal infrastructure supporting our MSO/MSA product line and the broader DeWitt Health platform. You will draft, review, and manage Management Services Agreements and Management Services Organization structures for our growing subscriber base, while serving as general counsel-lite across the full portfolio.
This is a high-output, high-autonomy role. You will work directly with the founder and be expected to build systems, not just process files.
What You’ll Do
Conduct client consultations to advise on MSO structure, CPOM compliance, and entity setup prior to agreement preparation
Form Professional Corporations (PC) between clients and physicians as part of the MSO/MSA engagement
Guide clients through full entity structure including PC formation, MSO relationship, and management fee arrangement
Draft, customize, and execute MSO/MSA agreements at volume (35+ per month) for clients across multiple states
Maintain and continuously improve master agreement templates in response to evolving CPOM, Stark Law, and Anti-Kickback guidance
Advise on corporate practice of medicine compliance across Texas and other active states
Support entity structuring, professional services agreements, employment agreements, and ancillary MSO documentation
Monitor regulatory changes across all states where DeWitt Health operates and proactively update agreements and protocols
Serve as internal legal resource for Injectco, Medical Director Co, GoodFaithExams.com, TAMA, DeWitt Pharma, and Brooke EMR
Partner with operations to build scalable legal workflows including templates, intake processes, and e-signature infrastructure
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
J.D. from an accredited law school; active Texas Bar membership required
3–7 years of healthcare law experience, with meaningful exposure to MSO/MSA structures and CPOM compliance
Solid working knowledge of federal Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark Law, and state fee-splitting prohibitions
Experience drafting and negotiating management services agreements, professional services agreements, and employment agreements
Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, high-volume environment — this is not a slow-paced in-house role
Strong template-building instincts; you think in systems, not one-off documents
Prior experience at a healthcare-focused law firm or in-house at a DSO, MSO, or multi-site healthcare company is a strong plus
