Animal Medical Center is a full-service, AAHA Accredited companion animal hospital that was established in 1989. Veterinary Assistant

Animal Medical Center in Trappe, PA

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Executing treatment orders

Keeping hospital clean and sanitized

Walking, feeding, and picking up after the animals

Various housekeeping duties (laundry, dishes, taking out garbage etc.)

Communicating with clients via phone and in-person

Assist in anesthetic procedures

Excellent room/loading skills

Restraining animals

Outpatient procedures

Filling prescribed medications

Phlebotomy and operating lab machines

REQUIREMENTS

Must be a team player and have compassion for pets and their people

Ability to multi-task

Positivity is a must!

Ability to lift 50 pounds

Must be willing to work evenings and Saturdays

High school diploma or equivalent

Must have veterinary and surgical experience
