Associate Physician
Salary or Pay Range: $1 - $21,750/Monthly

RECRUITMENT PERIOD ONE MONTH: Applicants will be screened after two weeks, and then on a weekly basis. The position may be filled prior to the removal date.
Under the direction of the Medical Director, this position provides a full range of physician support to all clinic areas. Responsible for medical care appropriate to level of training and board certification.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications - For full consideration, applicants are encouraged to upload license and/or certification if required of the position
- Hold current California Medical License.
- Possess a current DEA Certification.
- Possess a current CPR Certification.
- Medical degree with residency training.
- Experience as a licensed physician.
- Skills to analyze needs, establishing priorities, and provide appropriate medical care and preventive medicine services to the Campus community.
- Working knowledge of workers' compensation law and processes as well as working knowledge of applicable State and Federal law, including laws and regulations related to privacy and confidentiality.
- Strong political and institutional acumen sufficient to accomplish needed action in a complex public research university environment. Outstanding leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Computer and keyboarding skills to use Electronic Medical Records software program.
- Meets the credentialing and privileging standards for UCDHS medical staff.
Preferred Qualifications
- Board certified in Occupational Health.
- Experience in Occupational Medicine.
- Experience as a licensed physician and two years' experience in an occupational health care setting.
- Knowledge of University and campus policies and procedures preferred. Excellent oral and written communications skills including presentation skills in a large and small group setting. Familiar with occupational health clinic practice management philosophies.
